If you're using OS X Mavericks or later, you have the easiest way of all to permanently access the hidden Library folder.
From there you can see the library is installed and licensed. When I choose 'Add Library' from Kontakt, it launches the Native Access program instead of the browser. The latest update of Kontakt 5 (5.6.8) not only disconnected itself from my First Call Horns library (from Blue Fish Audio), but it won't allow me to add it.
